BBQ Assembly Melbourne — From $120
A new BBQ is exciting in the box. Less exciting when it's a 47-piece flatpack with a 60-page instruction booklet and a Sunday afternoon disappearing fast.
We assemble BBQs across west Melbourne — Beefeater, Weber, Ziegler & Brown, Gasmate, Masport, Everdure. You unbox, we build, you cook. Request a callback below.
What's Included
- Full assembly of the BBQ, trolley, side shelves and side burner
- Gas connection check (we do not connect the gas bottle — that's plumber territory by law in Victoria for fixed lines, but bottle hookup is included)
- Functional test of all burners and ignition
- Cleanup of packaging and removal of cardboard
- Quick demo of how to fire it up safely and where the bottle isolation valve is
If we strike a missing or damaged part during assembly, we stop, tell you, and you can decide whether to return to the retailer or have us come back when the part arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does BBQ assembly take?
A 4-burner standard is ~90 minutes. A 6-burner premium is 2–3 hours. Outdoor kitchen modules take longer and we'd quote those individually.
Can you connect the gas bottle?
Yes for portable LPG bottles. For fixed natural gas lines we're not licensed to connect — that's a Type A gas-fitter's job in Victoria. We can advise on a local gas fitter if you need one.
Do I need to be home?
Yes — for the gas check at the end, we need someone to confirm the BBQ is firing correctly before we leave. You can step out during the assembly itself.
What if I want a Weber Q delivered and assembled?
Weber Qs come almost-built — usually 20 minutes of work. We charge a minimum $120 because the call-out covers the rest.
Do you take the cardboard with you?
Yes, included in the price. We flatten it and load it into our ute.
